Retuning Your Receiver – Australia and New Zealand

USB Channel Update

Some receivers can be upgraded using the USB port. We host Optus D2 channel setup files for the following receivers.

ClearView HD1009IR: CV_HD1009IR_Optus_D2_2015_10_28.adb

Topfield: (work in progress)

If you use one of the above files, you need not read any further.  Just install the file and you should be ready to sit back and enjoy the channels.

Manual Channel Update

The basic process for retuning is to delete existing channels, enter new tuning information, scan for all channels, and then re-organise the channels. To rescan your own receiver, the transponder data is as follows:

Frequency: 12706 (12706.5)
Polarity: Vertical
Symbol Rate: 22500
FEC: 3 / 4
“Network Search” must be set to “enabled’ or “on” so that it can load all available channels.

You may also have to manually scan for other channels, depending on whether your receiver has updated transponder information. For the Christian Channels, include the following scans:

Frequency: 12608
Polarity: Horizontal
Symbol Rate: 22500
FEC: 3 / 4

Frequency: 12581
Polarity: Horizontal
Symbol Rate: 22500
FEC: 3 / 4

Frequency: 12519
Polarity: Vertical
Symbol Rate: 22500
FEC: 3/4
